The story behind Virexa Private
There are very few messengers that were actually private and not collecting user data. We looked at that and asked a simple question: why is that? Why should talking to someone you trust require a dossier?
So we set a mission. Make a messenger that collects basically zero user data. Put privacy in the mind first — not as a badge on a marketing site, but as the default of how the product is shaped. Username instead of a phone book. Email used once to verify, then discarded. Optional name and bio. Date of birth to confirm you are 18. Chat text sealed on this device. If a lock cannot open, we show Encrypted message and stop.
Alongside that, we refused a habit the whole industry treats as normal: forcing people to share their phone number just to message. A SIM card is not an identity you chose. It follows you into leaks, ads, and apps you never installed. On Virexa Private you reserve a username. That is how people find you. We never ask for a number. We never collect one.

That is the company’s store-support work. Virexa Private is a different product from the same company — a messenger for people, with the opposite data appetite. Those tools help a business see its customers. Virexa Private is built to know as little as possible about you.

What that mission looks like in the app
- Identity is a username you reserve — 3 to 30 letters, numbers, _ or -.
- No phone number. Ever.
- Email delivers a one-time code, then is discarded. It is not stored on the account.
- Name and bio are optional. Date of birth is used to confirm you are 18 or older.
- Text can be sealed on this device. Fail closed if it cannot be read.
- The people book does not notify someone when you add them.
Where Virexa Private is going
Web is available now at web.virexaprivate.com. Windows is scheduled for October 29, 2026. Android and iOS are coming in 2027. One private space — not a different bargain on each device.
