Our commitment
A messenger that refuses phone numbers and stored email still has a duty to children. We will not use “privacy” as cover for sexual abuse, exploitation, or grooming. If you see an account used that way, report it. We treat those reports as an emergency.
Confirmed child-abuse or similar harm is not a slap on the wrist. We delete the account and ban that person from Virexa Private forever. They do not get a second username. They do not get to come back on another device as if nothing happened.
Age verification — 18+ only
Children are not allowed on Virexa Private. You must be 18 or older to sign up. We ask for a date of birth so we can check that — not so we can build a marketing file. If the date you give shows you are under 18, the account is not created.
Lying about age to get around that check is against the rules. If we learn an account belongs to anyone under 18, we remove it. Date of birth is a safety control. It is not an excuse to collect a phone number, and it is not sold.
How we check
Date of birth at signup is used to verify age. Under-18 signups are refused.
What it is not for
We do not use birthday as an ad profile, and we still never ask for a phone number.
If someone lied
An under-18 account that slips through is removed when we find it.
How to report
Every chat has a report path. You pick a reason, you can add details, and you can attach the message that triggered it. Reports for child sexual abuse, exploitation, or similar harm sit at the top of that list on purpose. You already have a pending-report lock so the same pair cannot flood the queue — one open report at a time, then you can report again after it is handled.
You can also block the person immediately so they stop reaching you while we review. Blocking is yours. Reporting is how we see the account.
- Open the chat menu
- Choose Report
- Select child sexual abuse or exploitation — or the closest reason if you are unsure
- Add what you saw. Include the message if you can
- Submit. You should see confirmation that the report was received
What we do with a child-abuse report
We take it seriously. A report of child abuse, child sexual abuse material, exploitation, or grooming is reviewed as a priority — not as spam in a pile.
When the report is substantiated:
- The account is deleted
- That person is banned from Virexa Private forever
- They cannot simply reserve a new username and walk back in
We may also preserve what we need to cooperate with lawful investigations. Privacy for ordinary chats does not mean we will protect an abuser’s access to the product.
What this is not
We do not read your private messages for advertising. We do not keep a stored email to watch you. Safety here is age checks, user reports, review, deletion, and a lifetime ban. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Virexa Private is a messenger, not a substitute for the police or a child-protection hotline.
